Discipleship

Living Out the Acts 1:8 Mission Together

Doing Life with the Doctrines of the Bible

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Luke 9:23

The growth of a church is greatly determined by the growth of its family members in their personal walks with Master Jesus. Being involved in a disciple-making relationship is paramount in the lifeblood of First Bible to be an Acts 1:8 church. We need to continue to engage in the Spirit and Truth and continue to make lifelong investments in people who desire to follow Jesus Christ in passion.

One-By-One

One-By-One creates an opportunity for the Christ-follower to learn the doctrines of the church. Individuals pair with a disciple maker who spends one-on-one time sharing life and teaching God’s Word through sixteen lessons. As a result of this special relationship, the disciple learns how to become rooted in God’s Word.

Making Disciple Makers

There was once a time in your relationship with God that He ordained a particular person to walk into your life. That follower of Jesus invested himself or herself for you to learn what it means to be a disciple. Special people have spent special time investing in your growth and maturity so that you would be on the path of becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus. We refer oftentimes to that person being a “disciple-maker.”
