Living Out the Acts 1:8 Mission Together

Pursue God Together

The Acts 1:8 Conference is the time set aside to champion the mission of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We look to have a time of revival because of the victory we have in Him. Join God’s family around the vision and mission of FBBC, fighting for the Championship together every fall!

Our conference theme this year is Pursue God Together. These three words capture what God is calling us to as a church. Pursue speaks to our resolve because we don’t simply stumble into a Godly life–it takes intentional steps of faith, obedience, sacrifice and difficult lessons. Psalm 63:8 says, “My soul followeth hard after thee…” God desires that kind of whole-hearted pursuit from each of us. Pursuing God also means being willing to leave behind the things in our lives that keep us from following him fully. God speaks to the priority of the Creator in our lives. So many things we chase in this life ultimately don’t amount to much. But when we choose to pursue God, the reward is always worth the cost. There is nothing greater we could give our lives to than Him. Together reminds us that God never intended for us to walk this journey alone. We need one another to encourage us, challenge us, strengthen us and spur us on in our pursuit of God. We are at an important point in our ministry, where God has our collective attention and is preparing us for what He wants to do next. It is time to Pursue God Together as we look towards His direction for First Bible Baptist Church,

8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. (Psalm 63:8)
