Our first ever “Super Silly Sunday” was a huge success! Ms. Yvonne Patterson, the owner of “Wings of Love” came to FaithPlace on September 31st, bringing her birds with her. From a Cockatoo riding a bike on a guide wire, to a Blue & Gold McCaw spelling the word “GRACE,” to “Swoop” the Owl flying through the room over the heads of the children to land on its perch, Ms. Yvonne truly entertained us all with the help of her fine feathered friends. The program that she brought to FaithPlace is called “Birds of Faith”. While the birds show off their crazy and funny skills, she through the Word of God connected the birds to God and their role in his creation. While the entertainment factor was wonderful the message that we received from God’s Word was even greater. This was a wonderful opportunity to reach in, reach out, and reach up. I wonder what or who will be at our next “Super Silly Sunday”?

During our 10:00 a.m. service in FaithPlace on September 30th, Kindergarten through 5th Grade will be enjoying a fun avian Bible study where birds skate, talk, play basketball, spell and more! You won’t want to miss this exciting Sunday morning.
